Blog Review – Fearless by Max Lucado

Fear, it’s something that we all have.  No matter who you are, what you do, how successful, how young or old you may be.  We all have fears in our lives about something.  Those fears change as we grow and learn to look at things differently.  Here’s you a good example: how many of you remember being scared of the dark?  Be honest, we don’t want to have to ask your parents.  But today are you still scared of the dark?  Most likely not, why?  Because you have learned to look at the situation differently.  This is what Max has done with this book.

Max has taken some of the common things that we fear in our lives and broken each one down and offered scripture and logic to help each of us see the situation differently.  He even throws in Biblical examples of people that faced the same situation.

I have to admit to having some of the fears that Max talks about but now have a new perspective on these fears.  I think Fearless has given me tools to look at the areas of my life that are troubling me.  It will also be a reference to help me handle difficult problems and tasks that are inevitable in my life.

Fearless is a book that I would highly recommend and that I plan on re-reading and using as a reference in the future.  Pick up a copy and see for yourself.
